New project CONTENT SUMMIT RUSSIA within the exhibition CSTB.Telecom&Media’2018

31 January 2018 from 10:30 to 18:30 at the exhibition space of Crocus Expo (Moscow) within the leading Russian exhibition – forum CSTB. Telecom & Media 2018 the conference CONTENT SUMMIT RUSSIA. Russian content: tendencies and prospects organized by Midexpo company with the support of Reed MIDEM (international content exhibitions MIPTV and MIPCOM) in cooperation with Expocontent company – official representative of Reed MIDEM in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries will be held. The leading Russian exhibition-forum CSTB. Telecom & Media’2018 will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a significant extension of conference program topics. CSTB organizer – exhibition company Midexpo, is glad to announce a totally new project for Russian market - CONTENT SUMMIT RUSSIA. Russian content: tendencies and prospects which will become a significant step towards not only for exhibition development but for the whole TV industry.


Content Summit Russia will become a working platform for key international participants of TV and telecom industry which will be gathered at one place. Organizers will prepare favorable business atmosphere for the experts including Russian sellers and buyers of content which will be invited for participation in the conference programme.


Organizers are working out an eventful conference programme of CONTENT SUMMIT RUSSIA «Russian content: tendencies and prospects» which will be opened by Sylvain Faureau, official representative of Reed MIDEM, Daria Petrova, Deputy CEO of MIDEXPO company and Aleksandra Modestova, General Director of Expocontent company.


Conference programme consist of several topical units. The first section will be devoted to researches of Russian content market. Maria Erkovich, KVG Research company, will announce key tendencies of Russian digital market development today and will make a forecast of future according to their own analytics in the sphere of TV content of Russia and CIS countries. Further Deputy General Director of VGTRK media holding - Dmitry Mednikov, together with Director of Momri institute - Kirill Tanaev, will tell about consumption of children content in 2017.


The next section «Russian content entrance to international market» will be held in the format of panel discussion and moderated by Nina Romodanovskaya, chief editor of professional web portal Proficinema. During last several years Russian TV and movie industry enter international market with confidence, asserting itself on whole new level. Producers of the most successful companies and holdings will tell their experience of exclusive content production and its promotion on world market in this section and also how to correspond with world quality level. Aleksandra Modestova, official representative of Reed Midem in Russia and CIS, will tell how Russian companies’ participation format have changed in MIP international markets during last several years and which Russian series attracted the largest attention of international buyers on MIPTV markets in 2017.


What will happen in media industry in foreseeable future? How VR technologies transformed content consumption and how will influence on media industry in near future? To this global issue the section « New technologies and trends of media industry future: video in 360° format and VR» is devoted, where for participation invited: Dmitry Mednikov, Deputy General Director of VGTRK media holding; Georgy Molodtsov, creative director of VRability project; representatives of Match TV, Russia Today, AUTO24 channels; Association of augmented and virtual reality AVRA and many others. Among announced topics for discussion: VR-technologies in world film industry, broadcasting of sport events in 360° format, how VR transforms consumption of kid’s content today. Evgeniy Borisov, CEO of Vortex. Pictures, will be a moderator of this section.


The section «Development of Russian TV channels on international markets» is supported by web portal «Cable man Eurasia», will offer for discussion an actual experience of entering foreign TV markets by Russian TV channels and distributors, as well as prospects of Russian content in Russia and abroad. CIS and Baltic countries will be examined as an advanced direction of development of Russian content. Participants will discuss channels of content promotion abroad and adaptation of Russian content for foreign TV channels. Moderator of the event is Yana Belskaya, chief editor of web portal Cable man.
